There are under Five years left to officially record around 20,000 pre-1949 routes in England before they’re extinguished, and Wales may follow suit.

The British Horse Society have teamed with the Ramblers to bring training across the UK.

Led by co-authors of ‘Rights of Way: Restoring the Record’ Phil Wadey and Sarah Bucks, learn how to identify historical routes and the key resources used to study them. Find out what your evidence can unlock and how to create a systematic research method to investigate your routes.

Remember, just because you use a route doesn’t mean it’s officially recorded.
